Every day we endeavour to find quality businesses with good management at attractive prices, as analysed through our valuation process.

We have three stock selection strategies;

1. Core stock portfolio; which uses a quantitative filter to produce a “watch list”. We then individually analyse stocks on the watch list to determine final portfolio structure.
2. Arbitrage strategies; including dual listed, takeover and convertible arbitrage.
3. Option / hedging; where we evaluate opportunities in the options and futures markets to either enhance returns on existing positions, or implement risk management strategies across our portfolio to mitigate downside moves in equity markets.

At each stage of the investment process we aim to maximise returns given a set of risk parameters. We overlay this with our own short term assessment of expected market moves.
